We are happy to announce that Lammhults' new designer, Gustav Winsth, was named Newcomer of the Year by Form Magazine, during the Stockholm Furniture Fair.
We want to extend our congratulations to Gustav for receiving this award.
The jury´s motivation:
'With his sculptural furniture and objects in contemporary materials, Gustav Winsth pushes the boundary between art and design. Now, he debuts as a designer for Lammhults with a high-gloss hybrid between a drinks trolley and a coffee table that rolls on skateboard wheels. We have a winner!'
Gustav Winsths collaboation with Lammhults started in February 2022 when he was awarded the Lammhults Scholarship in the competition Ung Svensk Form.
The scholarship meant that he could access the product development team and workshop at Lammhults for a year, and experience a hands-on design process with a manufacturer and develop a prototype during those months. Read more about the outcome of Gustavs scholarship year.
That scholarship year eventually led to Gustav's first product for Lammhults - Tension trolley.
